Week 8
This week, the electrician installed a new electrical panel in the basement (we kept our 100 Amp service
but upgraded from a 20-circuit panel to a 30-circuit panel.) The spray-in foam insulation guys weren't available
until late in the week, but they showed up on Friday and completed that. Nathan also completed the vanity.
Week 9
Happy Thanksgiving! This week the guys finished up some minor framing work, installed the replacement window
(in the closet), and did some additional air sealing. On Wednesday, the blueboard was installed. On Thursday,
everyone took time off for a turkey dinner. On Friday,
the plasterers showed up bright and early and completed the plaster work. Jen and I looked at some paint
colors, bought some painting supplies, and purchased a toilet. I also started working on pre-finishing the maple
doors before they are installed.
